On the 7th of March 2017, Synthecon was happy to welcome 26 learners and a lecturer from the Institute of Health Sciences in Gaborone, Botswana. The 26 Pharmacy Technology year three students were in South Africa on a 2 week excursion which included a site visit to Synthecon Sutures. Once at our plant the learners were taken on a tour of our facility to gain an appreciation of the meticulous work done by Synthecon in the manufacturing, packaging, storage and dispatch of our high quality surgical sutures. Learners were also afforded an opportunity to interact and engage directly with selected members of the Synthecon management team. We look forward to welcoming more tertiary students at our plant.
