The Peri-Operative Ergonomics symposium at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital

The Peri-Operative Ergonomics symposium was conducted at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital more commonly known as Joburg Gen on 29 March 2017. A number of insightful presentations were conducted by senior medical practitioners on ‘Surgical conscience’, ‘Infection control in the theatre’ as well as ‘Ethics and Peri-Operative wound management’. A key highlight of the event however was a lecture on ‘Financial and Economic Freedom’ that was presented by Dr Peter Karungu, CEO of Synthecon Sutures Manufacturing SA.
